Conceptualizing the campaign
Concept 1 draws inspiration from Starbucks Reserves which pushes the boundaries in all their communications of coffee and the many representations it can hold. The design tells a story while engage a new consumer of this product. My approach was to use simple clean graphics with contrasted bold elements to offset the lightness.
Concept 2 uses imagery and phrases to push the idea of coffee culture. Inspiration was drawn from independent and local café culture and through research, a repetitive theme began to arise. I wanted to capture some of those moments in an expressive collage.
